Dr. David Nelson

A Doctor of Dental Surgery, David Nelson graduated from Marquette University’s School of Dentistry in 1980, where he was a Clinical Adjunct Associate Professor for 25 years teaching restorative dentistry.

Dr. Nelson continued his education at Wright State Medical School in advanced bone grafting techniques for use in the placement and restoration of dental implants.  He also completed courses in Root Canal Therapy through Advanced Endodontics, an international education source founded by Dr. Cliff Ruddle.

Dr. Nelson loves being a dentist and truly enjoys helping people. He received national recognition from the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry in 2011 for his participation in the “Give Back A Smile” program after successfully completing a full mouth reconstruction, which included dental implant therapy and veneers. The program specifically was implemented to restore the smiles of domestic violence survivors.

A seasoned traveler ready for a good adventure, Dr. Nelson always finds his way back home to Wisconsin. After all, home is where the heart is and where the best cream puffs in the world are, too.  He enjoys reading and gardening with his wife Luanne, a best-selling author. They have five children and one grandchild.

Dr. Dave is an Eagle Scout, and he thinks hiking through the Kettle Moraine with his pretty wife and his cute corgi, McIver, is a perfect way to spend a day!

Dr. Jacob Son

Dr. Jacob Son received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Indiana University, has completed hundreds of hours in continuing education in Endodontics, Oral Surgery, Invisalign, and Restorative Dentistry in order to offer his patients a wide variety of treatment options using the most up to date techniques.

Dr. Son wants his patients to have the best quality care, and it’s his duty to always make sure that he is giving it to them every day in every aspect of the dental care experience. Often times patients don’t see the work we as dentists do, but he personally appreciates how much trust is needed to let someone work in your mouth. He wants his patients to always trust that he has their best interests in mind always, and know that they are getting quality personal care to the standard that he would want for himself or his family.

“My goal with all my patients is to understand them completely so I can address their needs and desires, and do my best to explain the solutions to their problems and guide them through the treatment process together. There are many solutions, and my job is to give my patients the best options, and help them navigate to the ultimate goal of optimal oral health, good esthetics, and function.”

Doctor Son has completed hundreds of hours in continuing education in Endodontics, Oral Surgery, Invisalign, and Restorative dentistry in order to offer his patients a wide variety of treatment options and the most up to date techniques. Giving patients a reason to smile, feeling more confident, being able to eat better, and not having pain is at the core what motivated Dr. Son to pursue dentistry. Dentistry provides a unique opportunity to help people in a very special way.

As a native of New Mexico, Dr. Son grew up hiking, rock climbing, and downhill skiing. In his free time he enjoys spending time outdoors, and doing photography. He loves living in Wisconsin, and will never say no to some good cheese, and a trip to the lake for kayaking.
